Julie Dalberg, BSN, RN
Julie Dalberg is the owner of Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics in Fredericksburg. She has her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Marymount University. She has served as a pediatric ICU nurse at Children’s Mercy Hospital, a transplant nurse at Washington Hospital Center, and a cardiac nurse at Mary Washington Hospital. She also has experience in home health. In 2007, Healthy Beginning Wellness & Esthetics was born! Julie has certifications in: Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Pellet Therapy, weight loss treatment of adolescent obesity, Viveve vaginal rejuvenation, and CelluPulse erectile dysfunction therapy. Additionally, Julie is a certified personal trainer, colon hydro-therapist, and paddleboard instructor. For the past 15 years, wellness and weight loss has been her passion! Julie is a mother of 2 and loves all things active.
Richard Ameen, MD
We are very excited to welcome Dr. Richard Ameen to our Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics family as a medical director! Dr. Ameen is a local physician who is board certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. He went to medical school at MCV in Richmond and did his internship and residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Ameen has been in practice in Fredericksburg for 33 years and currently practices at Chancellor Internal Medicine. He is certified in Weight Loss and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Jing Britton, NPA
After being a nurse for 20+ years, she expanded her education and became a certified Nurse Practitioner through the ACNN in 2011. Jing specializes in family practice and cardiology. She is certified in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Pellet Therapy and weight management.
Keesha Lloyd, NP
Keesha Lloyd graduated from Duke University with her BSN. Prior to that she received her BS in Psychology from UNCC. She joined the Army Nurse Corps after graduation where she spent 8 years before getting out to finish up her graduate education. She then received her MSN from Duke University and attained her FNP-BC certification. In her free time, she enjoys organic gardening and spending time with her husband and their four beautiful young children. At Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics of Fredericksburg, Keesha specializes in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement therapy as well as hCG weight loss. She is so excited to be part of the HBWL family.
Joan Ellmore, NP
Joan Ellmore is a new nurse practitioner for Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics! Joan received her BSN from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Continuing her education, she received her MSN from The Catholic University of America. Joan specializes in adult medicine and is looking forward to helping her new clients at Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics. In her free time, Joan works out almost everyday. She has also competed in bodybuilding competitions!
Rebecca has her Master of Physician’s Assistant from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. Rebecca is trained in weight-loss and BHRT at Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics, she is also full time at Mary Washington Hospital’s Observation Unit right here in Fredericksburg! Rebecca is certified in Onabotulinum Toxin and filler injections as well as Viora Therapies.

Kim Haynes, B.S.N, RN
Kim Haynes, B.S.N, RN has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics for almost 2 years. Kim serves as the head registered nurse. She received her B.S. in Biology from UMW in 2011, her RN from Career Training Solutions in 2015, and recently completed her BSN at UMW. Kim is certified in BHRT, Viora, IV Vitamin Therapy, Viveve and CelluPulse therapies. She is also CPR certified, in addition to ACLS and PALS. She is a mother of two and works PRN in the Emergency Department at Mary Washington Hospital.
Jamie Schroeder, B.S.N, RN
Jamie Schroeder, B.S.N, RN has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics since 2007. She splits her working hours at KidMed Pediatric Urgent Care and works as a school nurse at Spotsylvania County Public Schools. She is certified in BHRT, Vioria, Colon HydroTherapy, CelluPulse therapies, Onabotulinum Toxin and filler injections as well as Viora Therapies. She enjoys spending time with her family and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nurse Education.
Tara Schroeder, RN
Tara Schroeder has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics since 2011! She splits her working hours between Mary Washington Hospital’s oncology unit and HBWL Center! Tara is certified in Viora therapies, BHRT, weight-loss therapies, Viveve and CelluPulse. She is a mother of four and loves family time.
Chelcie McMillon R.N
Chelcie McMillon R.N. is the head injector and intimate wellness specialist at Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics. She is also certified in BHRT, Viora, Pulse and weight loss. Chelcie splits her time between Healthy Beginnings & VCU Hospital on the Cardiac Care Unit!
Cecilia Del Rosario, LPN
Cecilia Del Rosario has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness and Esthetics since October 2019. She earned her diploma from Eastern Virginia Career College and is also a certified Mednax Medical Newborn hearing screener. She is very passionate about weight loss after she lost 80+ pounds. She specializes in pulse treatment therapy, weight-loss, and IV vitamin infusions. She is also a mother of one and loves to spend time learning new things.
Olivia Dalberg graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with her bachelors in biology with a minor in chemistry. She works with us as a medical assistant and is currently working towards going to PA school. Olivia is trained as a weight loss coach and viora technician.
Justin Farris is currently enrolled at NOVA in their paramedic program and has plans on joining the military in the future. He works with us as a medical assistant and is trained in weight loss! Justin has a passion for nutrition and wellness due to his many years of being an athlete. Outside of work Justin enjoys hiking and listening to music.
Samantha Tecson has been working here at Healthy Beginnings since June of 2020. Samantha earned her bachelor's degree in biomedical science and a minor in psychology at Averett University. She was also a part of the women's basketball team. She is a certified clinical medical assistant and phlebotomist. Samantha also has her cosmetology license and is certified as a viora technician. Samantha has aspirations of becoming a physician's assistant in the future.
Nichelle started with Healthy Beginnings in June of 2020. Nichelle is a Medical Assistant, as well as, a Certified Nursing Assistant and is currently studying at Germanna Community College aspiring to become a registered nurse. She works with us as a trained weight loss coach and Viora technician. Nichelle was born and raised in Fredericksburg, VA and works PRN at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center as a patient care technician. What she loves most about working at Healthy Beginnings, is the rewarding opportunity to assist others in their lifestyle changes, forming a relationship with her patients during their journey, as well as, the family she has gained with her coworkers.
Killian has been working for Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics since August of 2020. He is a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and is currently enrolled in nursing school. Killian hopes to work in the emergency department when he is done with school. In his free time, he loves to play sports, hike, and hang out with his dog, Kubo.
Megan Robertson, CCMA
Megan Robertson has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness and Esthetics since May 2019. She is currently a senior Health Science major at James Madison University and hopes to pursue an accelerated nursing program after she graduates. Here at Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics, she helps support individuals through our weight-loss program.
Tonya Trice, ME, MEI
Tonya is an oncology-trained Skincare Specialist and client care professional, who possesses a thorough knowledge of the health and beauty industry. Tonya maintains her commitment to staying current on all aspects of esthetic skincare and products. Tonya is dedicated to providing services to her clients with a comprehensive plan specific to their needs and goals. She loves helping to correct skincare issues and she performs several skincare treatments.
Tonya received her Masters’ Esthetician education through American Spirit Institute in Richmond, VA and her Oncology Skincare education through Oncology Spa Solutions, Tacoma, WA and The Skincare Therapy Institute, Atlanta, GA.
Tonya enjoys spending time with her family and friends, to include sitting around the firepit on a cool night. Sundays are dedicated to her family where she prepares homemade meals and enjoys catching up with her extended family. Tonya is happily married to Ken and is the proud “mama” to Tony and Taylor.
Interesting fact: Tonya taught herself calligraphy at a young age and is now exploring the art of woodburning.
Grace, Viora Tech
Grace Poole has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics for over a year. She is trained in Viora, as well as, phlebotomy. She is continuing her education and is taking classes to become a certified aesthetician. She is a mother of two and in her free time enjoys practicing her Chinese and running.
Ramona Tirnovan has been in the beauty industry since 2010. She is from Romania (Europe) where she started to learn and work as an esthetician and then a permanent makeup artist. In 2018, Ramona moved to Virginia to be together with her husband and now she's a mom!
From 2010 to 2020 Ramona took multiple Master Classes taught by internationally renowned trainers, becoming a Philashes & PhiBoldbrows artist and International teacher for eyelash extensions. She loves Microblading, powder eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color.
Lizzy Landin is the owner of Massages by Lizzy. She has been practicing as a Certified Massage Therapist in Fredericksburg since 2011. She specializes in working with clients who suffer from neck, shoulder, and back pain due to everyday life or injury. In a combination of Swedish, trigger point focus, or using heat therapy through hot stones; she tailors each session to the clients individual needs. She knows self care is a must in our busy lives and massage therapy is extremely beneficial to everyone.
Michael (Mike) Sullivan moved to Fredericksburg in 2018 from Virginia Beach. Mike retired from the military in 2011 after having served 20 years between the Marine Corps and the Navy. Mike attended the Advanced Fuller School of Massage Therapy in 2013 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2014. While attending school he also worked for Bon Secours Medical System in their outpatient physical therapy clinics, In Motion, where he worked as a rehab tech and then transitioned full time to massage therapy.
Mike's passion truly is with massage therapy. After his initial training at Fuller, he continues to attend workshops and home study courses. In 2018 he became a Master Myoskeletal Therapist under Erik Dalton. Mike's focus is on therapeutic work and getting a client back to their full ability. He has worked with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and chiropractors to enhance their treatments and to get clients back to their full potential, or to work with clients in both a pre and post exercise phase to aide in their performance and recovery. His modalities include myoskeletal therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue, Swedish, kinesio taping, Active Isolated Stretching (AIS), Sports Massage, Orthopedic Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy. In 2020 he also became a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner.
Mike lives in the Falmouth area of Fredericksburg with his two sons, Ryan and Iain, his wife, Hillary, and an ever growing population of cats.
Office Administration / Insurance and Collection Specialist
Cristy Reeder has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics since 2015. Cristy has her degree in Business Administration from Mary Washington College. She oversees the accounts and prepares the insurance documents for our patients for hormone replacement therapy. She is a mother of two and in her free time enjoys cooking!
Patient Care Coordinator
Bridget Dougherty has been with Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics since the beginning! She obtained her degree in Kinesiology: Exercise Science from Longwood University in 2012. She is the Patient Care Coordinator here, in addition to being Viora certified. Bridget was a personal trainer at Gold’s Gym: Fredericksburg for 5 years. Her favorite thing about Healthy Beginnings Wellness & Esthetics is being able to use her education and experience to help support people through their weight loss journeys and regaining their life with hormone replacement.
Emily Kio has been at Healthy Beginnings Wellness and Esthetics since July 2020. She has been in customer service for over 10 years and is now our receptionist. Emily helps with scheduling as well as patient’s accounts. Even though she is one of the newest members here she is really enjoying working with our outstanding staff. In her free time she loves working out and traveling.
